We will examine his views on the distinction between intellectual and practical virtues, as well as the implications of considering virtue as an end or means for our understanding of morality.</p> <h2 id="context">Context</h2> <p>Aristotle&rsquo;s philosophy emerged in ancient Greece during the 4th century BCE, amidst a rich cultural and philosophical landscape. His ideas on ethics were influenced by his predecessors, such as Plato, and his contemporaries, including the Stoics and Epicureans. Aristotle&rsquo;s concept of virtue was developed within the context of his broader philosophy, particularly in his work &ldquo;Nicomachean Ethics.&rdquo;</p>
